In-Lane Repositioning and Lane Change Assist won't activate

My 2021 Job 2 received 10.1.0 on Monday (even though it wasn't set to update until Tuesday) and has the same issue as the OP. In fact, my mirror auto fold setting also won't stick and the mirrors now have to be unfolded manually. Is resetting the IPMA something a dealer can/will do? I don't have FDRS/FORScan. Or would 10.1.1 be expected to address this?

Same issue as the OP? So lane change assist used to work and now it doesn't?

Sorry. Misread the original post. No. New BC 1.3 toggles have never worked but otherwise behavior is identical.

And 10.1.1 just installed, answering one of my questions — it did not resolve the issue.

Then you're most likely missing the update that enables the features. The one that gives you the buttons and the one that gives you the features themselves are two separate updates.

Not convinced I’m missing the BC 1.3 update but I do now see others in the main BC1.3 thread having the issue as well. Does sound like a config issue. Sorry for thread confusion.

If you have forscan, just check the strategy of the IPMA. If it's not on BAE, you don't have the software. If you're on BAE, post a screenshot of the first few lines of the IPMA config and I'll tell you if that's it.

Yes I do but i actually did what you said to do in the start of this thread and ifs working

Found your VIN. The config on your IPMA got wiped by the update you got somehow.

You are showing this on your AB data:

706-01-02

0000

0000

0010

Go in there with FORScan and change it to this:

0500 0000 0015

Reset the IPMA with the wrench icon and the toggle switches should work again.

I hooked it up to ForScan and my module was already set to those numbers, but I still don’t have the toggle switches. I rebooted the IPMA as well.

So your lane change works but you're missing the toggles on the touchscreen? That's a different issue. For the toggles, go to APIM (as built):

Disclaimer: The changes above will give you the buttons on the touchscreen to enable the new features IF AND ONLY IF you got the BC 1.3 update and lane change etc already works. Making these changes without having the right IPMA software AND config will give you buttons for lane change etc that you will not be able to turn on.

Thanks I always had the buttons they wouldn't activate. Once I did your fix in the first post they worked again

I should rephrase. I received the update a couple days ago. I haven’t had the opportunity to try it out yet. I don’t have the toggles on the touchscreen at all, but the numbers you posted for the IPMA already matched.

I’ll check out what it says for the APMI, and see if they need to be changed. I have everything set up to do FDRS, outside of the license, yet. Just need a day I can dedicate the time to.

2021 here, got the 1.3 Blue cruise update and it completed. I don’t have the options for lane change assist or in lane repositioning under the cruise control settings. But i tried BC and it does do the lane change. Are those options a separate update? Or would fordscan be able to add them?
