I fitted the Mach-e electrics to my Falcon but, I just can’t get my high beam lights to do anything other than stay on continuously. The dash indicator indicates activation and I have tried with FORScan to set up the lights but, no change occurs. Perhaps I need to fit a different relay? Oh I am using Grote 7” headlights. Suggestions anyone?

Since you moved everything over from the Mach E, did you move the light/headlight sensor used for auto-brights? I think it is the mirror cluster. Alternately there is likely a setting you can turn off.

This is very interesting! Did you get the Mach E battery pack in there somewhere? Please share more details!

I removed the entire Falcon floor, built a perimeter frame and fitted. The Mach-e floor and battery pack.I had to obtain a lift table to transfer the battery pack to the Falcon

Have you gotten the Falcon functional yet? What a project! Did you use wrecked Mach E's for parts or did you rip apart a new car?

The car is actually functional. I’m just trying to sort out details . I purchased a salvage car from Copart. Oh! Would the sunload sensor cause my high beam headlight issue ? I have wired it in but fitted it in place yet. I have FORScan but my license just expired and now I can’t renew it!

Might be the glare free system (read last section) depending on car trim. Did you move the rear view mirror & camera’s from the Mach-e over to the Falcon?

Automatic High Beams (on high series trims)

The automatic high beam system uses an interior rear view mirror mounted camera to monitor surrounding traffic conditions and high beam usage. The IPMA communicates light information over the FD-CAN to the GWM then the GWM sends the information to the BCM over the HS-CAN1 .

The automatic high beam feature is active only when the headlamp switch is in the AUTOLAMPS position.

For North America, during nighttime driving, the automatic high beam system automatically turns the high beams on if it is dark enough and no other traffic is present. When the system detects an approaching vehicle's headlamps or a preceding vehicle's rear lamps, the system turns off the high beams. When the approaching vehicle's headlamps or the preceding vehicle's rear lamps are no longer detected, the high beams automatically turn back on.

Except North America, during nighttime driving, the high series headlamps are equipped with glare-free high beams. When an approaching vehicle is detected the high beams will adapt the beam pattern to prevent glare to the approaching vehicle. The headlamp has 15 individual LED segments making up the high beams. The feature will selectively turn off high beam segments that would glare a vehicle and keep the other high beam segments illuminated

I did not move any of the cameras or image processing system to the Falcon . Talk about a whole bunch of unnecessary junk ! Does this mean I can’t operate ordinary headlamps?

It depends, did you buy a Mach-e Premium or GT version?
