The car I bought was just basic RWD model .I don’t want the auto lights . I just want the lights to operate on high beam when I move the switch. (The blue high beam indicator does go on or off when I move the switch)

Because you bought the base model you don’t have to worry about the glare free lighting. But It seems like you are having difficulties with the auto high beam. Did you redo the cabling or did you transfer the whole wire harnass?

you can try to disable auot high beam:
Switching Auto High Beam Control ON and OFF -> Access Vehicle Drawer, Settings, Vehicle, Lighting, Switch Auto Highbeam on or off.

When I was in high school (early 80's), my uncle down the road got a red 65 Falcon at a rural auction for $50. It was his farm car that he was able to fix and do his own work on and he drove it for many years. I remember making fun of it every time I saw it.

I"m not familiar with the Mach E headlight system... Are you using LED headlights? Current draw of incandescent lamps could cause issues? I know incandescent -> LED changes can cause issues with circuits in a car (slow or not blinking turn signals for example)

Great looking car. There is way more under the hood then in my Mach-e AWD. Did you put the rear engine in the front?

The 2021 Mach-e donor was a RWD model so, the motor is in the rear!
