I Am Keeping The Original Badging

I am proudly keeping all of the original badging that came with my 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT. Evidently, the same can not be said for the owners of other brands.

My first car was a Ford Pinto. I wonder if I can scrounge up some Pinto badging. Maybe an aftermarket, “ Explode on impact rear bumper”.

oh and they’re not fooling a soul with the fake badges. I dare them to stock Lightning badges on a cybertruck.

Incidentally, the car in my avatar is a fake GTO. It’s fake only because it was registered with the SCCA for use in the Trans-Am as a GTO due to the GTO nameplate having been homologated and the Tempest nameplate not having been homologated. The only GTO badging it has are the interior door panels and the rear license plate. It doesn’t even have a GTO hood. It does have my favorite bumper sticker of all time: “Dan Gurney for President” on its rear bumper. ??

I wish it was my car. It’s currently up for sale and it’s one of the fastest cars in the Historic Trans-Am, despite having to run smaller tires than it ran in ‘71 and being bigger than every other car in the series. Too bad I don’t have the millions to afford to buy and run it. ??

100%. I just don't understand who badgers think they're fooling. If you'll fall for it you don't need to be fooled and if you're worth fooling that won't work.

Anything that changes appearance but not performance is purely decorative at best, and an attempt at deception at worst. M "sport" badges on non-M BMWs, I'm looking at you.

For some reason the Mustang logo on the back just looked like it was wrong, so swapped that one to a FORD logo. I'm sure nobody but me has ever noticed.
