2021 Mustang Mach-E Owners,

You may have noticed that we have started to roll out the final update to enable BlueCruise 1.3 on BlueCruise-equipped 2021 model year Mustang Mach-E vehicles! Please keep in mind, as this rollout happens not all vehicles will receive the update at the same time. For example, your neighbor with the same model year vehicle could get the update at a different time than you do.

BlueCruise 1.3 helps you stay engaged in hands-free mode longer, including around curves and narrow lanes. It also builds on BlueCruise 1.2 which includes Lane Change Assist allowing you to change lanes by tapping the turn signal and once the path is clear and In-Lane Repositioning which helps keep the vehicle in its lane while subtly shifting position away from vehicles in adjacent lanes.

Hi @Ford Motor Company, as the parent company for Ford U.K. would you be kind enough to ask them to provide 2021 U.K. owners with clarity as to whether we will receive the BlueCruise 1.3 update. Both Ford U.K. customer support and Dan Jones, Ford U.K. communications director, have stonewalled multiple queries from forum members. The difference in communication from Ford in the USA is night and day better. Please help your loyal UK customers.

Thanks @Ford Motor Company . This will be a nice update since many (like mine) 2021 never even got BC 1.2. Also, might you consider a partial refund on the subscription extension we paid right at the time BC1.2 was announced? I’ve been paying for an old system for almost a year.

I don't believe any 2021s ever received BC 1.2.

Just got my notification that the BC1.3 update is ready to install (J1FE no-EA). Gonna install it after I'm back to work from the gym.

So did the rollout of 1.3 to Mach Es, and here we are with the actual rollout hopefully starting now.

Some 2023 Lightnings and a few 2022 Lightnings received BC 1.4 back in December. Most of us are still waiting, just like most Mach E owners.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that my vehicle (late 2021) received the BC 1.3 update yesterday! I haven't had an opportunity to try it out yet--looking forward to the new features, however.
