BC 1.3 rolled in for me on St. Patrick's Day! I went straight out and tried it out on the Interstate, works great. Bananarama is happy!

Got my blue cruise update, took it for a ride over 100 miles on a major interstate, where I have used it many times before. And to my surprise, it ever engaged . All settings are engaged correctly

That’s… a picture of Hands ON BlueCruise. See the little hands on the steering wheel? The IPC turns blue when Hands Free BC is engaged.

You just have to activate the turn signal either by turning it fully on or tapping it so that the short, lane change signal comes on. BC will recognize either as a lane change request. It takes a couple seconds to actually activate as the system checks on the traffic. It’s a leisurely process. If you need a quick move, do it manually.

There is a sub-menu option under Lane Change Assist on how aggressive lane changes are made. You can choose from...

"Old Lady"
"1st time on the Freeway"
"BMW Driver"
"I'm an American, Dammit"

In Los Angeles "BMW Driver" works best.

Not without FDRS (Ford Diagnostic & Repair System), which requires Windows, a special OBD cable, an (expensive) license, and as @HuntingPudel said: a regulated power supply capable of supporting 13V at a minimum of 50A ($100+).

Search for FDRS on this forum for a (ton) of additional information about this.

(I'd be delighted to be proven wrong, of course!)

Great news! Took a little while, but glad to see Ford making good on those early promises. I had already enabled BC1.3 "the back way" and had been running it successfully for several months, but received the official update two days ago which installed without a hitch, everything still working well.

True we have to dig for information wherever we can get it. After all, Ford didn't make an official post in the Lightning Forums saying "We've released BC 1.3 for Mach E, BC 1.4 is coming Soon™ for Lightning owners".
