I just downloaded it today and it took about 2.5 hours to install. I am excited to try it. Thanks Ford!

Still waiting for my update (and hoping my updates aren’t stuck since I haven’t had an update since May)

So my 2021 Job 2 received 1.3 nearly 3 months ago and it still doesn’t work as the toggles for LCA and repositioning are stuck to off. Does this mean it’ll be fixed soon or did I get an inoperable update and now I’m stuck in OTA purgatory?

The update you got is not this one. The one you got was 10.1.0 that gives you the buttons on the screen, but the update that gives you the actual features is for a different module.

That would make sense then. Genuine question though, why are there multi responses in the other 1.3 thread saying they used Forscan to fix the settings to enable the toggles and all is well? Sounds like 1.3 was installed?

Well, I got this update last night. Funny thing is that my Mach-e is a job2 Select with no Bluecruise hardware ? . Doesn't say anything about non-Bluecruise feature updates in the release note but at least I guess my IPMA was updated with something. At the end of the release note it states "IPMA-24.204.8.27".

I did get the APIM 6.14.0 on Jan 29th. Still waiting on 10.1.x.

I think you made the point you agree with me with that last comment.

Ford should be shipping firmware and software upgrades (OTA Updates) fleet-wide rather than piecemeal. It makes their job harder and it frustrates us owners.

In this case there are only a handful of variants (2021 model years) though not relevant to the conversation here.
Agree OP says this for 2021 models. How many variants of job 1 are there? I think it would not be insurmountable. Some IPhones need to wait a year after other phones have received an update while some phones will never get it. ;)

Most likely will start being released in the USA and then may trickle to other countries. I don't need BC no BC highways here but it has become the software sticking point of owners. You have to admit software/updates is hard for Ford right now. Hoping this thread ages better than previous. It has been the story of the haves and the have nots. Hard to discuss or get hyped on an update that never comes. Makes it worse when it does for others. Ford is stuck and hoping one piecemeal goes right for them so they can progress. I am so far behind on updates at this stage I gave up tracking them. Just find out what you did not receive.

Job 1, got mine 6 weeks ago and love it! Used it extensively on a trip a few weeks ago - struggling to find the right way to switch lanes. Hold turn signal down for about two seconds worked best. Too short, it’s read as a cancel, just as too long is. Did Ford tell us the correct procedure?

Got my blue cruise update, took it for a ride over 100 miles on a major interstate, where I have used it many times before. And to my surprise, it ever engaged . All settings are engaged correctly

You just have to activate the turn signal either by turning it fully on or tapping it so that the short, lane change signal comes on. BC will recognize either as a lane change request. It takes a couple seconds to actually activate as the system checks on the traffic. It’s a leisurely process. If you need a quick move, do it manually.
