Once this approaches mid $30's or more a used EV looks much more compelling
Especially since they decided to go with a 400V architecture that charges even slower than the Mach-E. As excited as I am for something new and innovative, it seems they want to make a NEW product that competes with OLD EV's.

First off, love my MME and my Acura ZDX. However, I can see myself owning one of these. Utility, bare bones, plug and play customization, …

AND AMERICAN MADE!!!

the North American market is not going to survive the surge of WAY cheaper Chinese EVs flooding the international market if we continue on the current trajectory. We are going to continue paying a lot more for substandard vehicles IMHO because our brands are more focused on silly bells and whistles (MME got most of it right, but have production quality issues; ZDX is a disappointment in all aspects other than premium ride quality).

Time to go back basics with EVs. Not everyone can afford 50k (MME) or 70k (ZDX) cars.
American *final assembly*, right?

Did they quote the % import parts?

Great question, but I don’t know the %. Their website states the battery is made in US. That in itself is pretty good.

The one concern is the cost includes the tax rebate. That will soon be a thing of the past and increase the price considerably.
