Basically it covers up to $5000 for any damage not covered under warranty at the end of your lease.

There's an additional option that provides $2500 for any damage not covered under warranty or your auto insurance during your lease and it will waive up to excess of 2000 km at the end of the lease.

Getting both will add about $1200 to the 3 year lease. Getting just the $5000 coverage will be about $1000.

We chose not to get it. IF your dealer was picky at the end of your lease, paintless dent repair isn't that expensive.

My plan is to keep my car after the lease expires, so I didn't get any extra coverage on anything since I had relatively few minor issues with my 2021 (HVBJB aside). Your comfort level and situation isn't mine so make your decision based on your own position. ?‍♂?

We've leased a lot of vehicles from many MFG'rs over the years, and Ford is one of the more lenient as far as vehicle condition at lease-end. If you take average or better care of your vehicles, I would not bother with the wearcare. JMO.

What's the residual value of your car?
