iOS 26 CarPlay on Mach-E

Just wanted to share some photos of how the CarPlay changes look on the Mach-E with iOS 26.

For some reason the posted pics are grayed out. So how do you like the new CarPlay on the Mach-e? Any crashes so far? Worthwhile to try??

Not in the car currently as above I will post a photo when I am back in it but you set it up on the phone. A clock widget at the top and two stacks you customise on the phone in car play settings.

Nice updates! Glad Apple maps now shows miles to destination.

Yes- me too. It was very frustrating that they took that out to “fit” the battery level on arrival.
Glad they finally figured that out.

I have North up as the default at all times. No north up, no use.

my brain is simply not powerful enough for that... I need to see maps in the direction of travel...

I don't use Apple Maps (use Waze today, but might be convinced to switch?), but other than the SoC upon arrival, this looks just like my CarPlay today. Is there a major change/difference here I'm oblivious to?

Does Apple Maps now have pinch to zoom? At least on the 2D view if not the 3D?

Used car play maps today and it looks like we have the latest version from the pictures above, my wife and I like it. I do have a question though, we lost the maps audio, how do we get it back?

There are icons on the right side for sound choices.

Any chance we can press on artist name now to go to all their tracks as is on iPhone? Can only go to album today.
