First MMEs arrive in San Diego

Got info from my dealer this morning that 2 MMEs arrived at the dealership (Encinitas Ford) and that mine is not one of them (I knew that of course). I believe they are customer cars. Not sure they are of members here (would have heard other wise I assume). These are probably one of the first to arrive in the area.

That's great news! Given the confusion about the financing plans available for the MME, being in the second or third wave might make for a smoother ride.

Mine went into production week of Jan 4, built 1/15, delivery date 3/3

It is best to check with the dealer a couple of weeks ahead of time to make sure there is no miscommunication. It is really bad that after the Xplan and ADM stuff, if the dealer starts acting on the financing side - we would be really stuck.

Build week 1/4, produced 1/12, shipped 1/20, ETA 2/19 in San Diego.

I'm mostly referencing that, so far, it doesn't appear that any finance person at a dealer understands or is familiar with Ford Options. On their own they have come up with different but incorrect programs, usually for other vehicles. Financing they get. RCL they get. Options not so much.

I asked a few weeks ago about financing alternatives but that was premature because of the stop-ship order. At this point I know what I want so it may be simpler, especially if someone else goes first and does the educating!

PS: My build date was 12/10/2020. My ship date was 12/31/2020. My ETA is 02/08 - 02/14.

Awesome thanks for the replies, I was genuinely curious. I've been a long time lurker. I have a 2018 Model 3 I've been relatively unsatisfied with for several reasons, so I'm really looking forward to this car.
