Anyone installed a Bluetooth voltage monitor in the frunk?

Curious if anyone’s installed a Bluetooth voltage monitor (like Victron, NOCO, etc.) on the 12V battery in the frunk?

I’m less interested in a one-time voltage check and more into tracking trends over time... something that could give me early warning if the battery starts going soft. I’d love to be able to check from my phone without having to pop the frunk or plug in an OBD reader. I mean ideally, the car gives out this info... but short of that:

If you’ve done this:
• What model are you using?
• Did you mount it cleanly or just let it ride?

Trying to figure out the most reliable and low-hassle setup. Appreciate any tips!

Stuck it to the battery with the included double-sided mount sticky. Seems to work fairly well. I just wanted an easy way to check on voltage at any given time.

The way the app works is it connects first, and gives you a real-time voltage reading. Of course if the Mach-E is in a charge session or is running, the voltage reading is really the DC/DC converter voltage.
But if the car is just parked and has been sitting a while, you will get the actual battery resting voltage.

After a few seconds, the app will download the voltage logs spanning from the last time the app synced up. This allows you to monitor your historical voltage down to the seconds, 24/7/365

As you stated was your purpose, I personally feel this inexpensive approach makes it very likely that I can witness any evidence that the battery is breaking pattern for how it charges and then rests between charges. A sudden decrease in resting voltage would certainly stick out.

Yes. I installed one in my wife's MME and one in my Lightning. Very similar to Snakebitten's model from Amazon. They are handy for learning your 12v power trends and can give you status/history in a moment within BlueTooth range.
