Both my cats howl a lot on the way to the vet in the MME. They are super chill on the way home. It the vet that freaks them out, not the car.

If you don't have propulsion sound turned on, give that a try. It might seem silly, but for some people the lack of engine noise increases the likelyhood of motion sickness.
You might have something there. A story came out this morning on Yahoo that said a study showed the smoothness etc of EVs made passengers more carsick. Sound cues did help. Def going to give yhat a try.

My cat has an issue with my MME. Every time I have to drive somewhere with him - vet, whatever- he yowls, drools and pukes. He never does this in any other vehicle. In the motorhome he just sits up in one of the back windows, in my Miata he sits on the console and leans on me while watching out the window.
Recently I had to take him to a kennel for a few days and tried some cat relaxer (for him, not me...), didn't help. When I picked him up, I drove super smooth and so on - no difference. Does the MachE make some kind of sound I can't hear that is upsetting to him? Does anyone else notice a difference in the behavior of their pet in an EV over an ICE? Maybe he hates Fords?
Try playing calming music

This one works miracles for my cat, no joke. The instant I play it, he stops making sounds

I have 2 cats who have ridden to the vet multiple times over the past year, one is much quieter than the other, some meowing (HEY! I DON'T MUCH APPRECIATE THIS!!!!), but that's about it. Nothing on the level you're reporting. My MME is a 24 Premium ER AWD and I almost always drive in Engage mode.

My Siamese has absolutely no problem riding in my Mach-E.... as long as someone else is driving while I hold her and give her 100% of my attention.

She feels the same way about my wife's Rav4.

Come to think of it, she feels that way about the couch at home, also. Some might suggest she's spoiled, but that's not possible. Everyone knows that Siamese cats are all reincarnated royalty, and royalty can't be spoiled. They're just entitled.

It puts my primary passenger to sleep. Almost every time.

Not as many drives in the Lightning yet to compare.

I also have read that cats are more sensitive to magnetic fields and EVs have more than an ICE vehicle.

The two-legger gets all happy and drooly looking at the Mach-E. 🤪🐩

I just chill. Oh, and I love to howl along with these. 😎🐩
