Hey @1pt21Gigawatts do you happen to have more details on the vehicle’s onboard charger? Do you know if the US-spec version will support 3-phase charging? Like 3x16amps.
Tesla increased the range of the Model Y with the announcement of the production version. The electric SUV will now have up to 315 miles of range on a single charge.
I wonder if Ford can match that..

This is great news, I might still be able to use the credit if I play my cards right in a scenario delivery is in Q1 2021. Thanks a lot everyone contributing!
Good speculation in here. Another question: am I right to assume EV tax credit for vehicle delivered in 2021 can only be used in 2022 or would it actually be filed with 2021 taxes? I’ve been searching the internet without definitive answer (I guess it’s not a relevant question for many). Thanks...
I’m in the 17k’s if I read the reservation number right. didn’t immediately put in the reservation when it opened... the fact that I’d lose the $7.5k would definitely make me cancel and look at other options..
What do you think, do I have any chances of getting a Premium trim Mach E delivered still this year? 2021 delivery would cause some complications with the tax credit for me personally..
Constant connection issues. Apparently this is not just e-tron but across vehicles. If Ford App will be as useless and you need it for charging etc...

Software is my biggest doubt- it’s the center piece of all EVs and if it doesn’t work seamlessly it’s like having an ICE with faulty engine. Tesla has a good track record there and the Y is my plan B.
Have you read about the issues E-Tron owners are having with the Audi app? It’s ridiculous..
