I'm having 'Liftgate Ajar' issues with my latter half of 2022 Mach-e Select with a manually closed liftgate. Sometimes it just bounces open a bit when I try to to close it. On the retry it might feel latched, but I'll still get an Ajar worning on the instrument panel.
Any suggestions?
Since most ICE car fuel doors need to be opened via a latch inside the car, is there any rational for Ford not to have done the same for the MME charging port door?
I'm not a fan of drive through car washes, but even a hand wash often results in playing wack-a-mole with that door!
This is just a thought experiment to understand wall 'chargers' better. Why do we need an intermediary wall device aka 'charger' between the generic 4 slot 240 volt wall outlet and the MME built in actual charger?
I haven't noticed any irregularities on my Space White MME. The light reflections on your door make it difficult to pick out any irregularities in the picture.
After deleting and then resetting the charging schedule and level for my car, it's honoring the charge window again. It was coincident with installing a new level of FordPass.
This seems to be a new issue for my MME (July 2022 build). I've had a charge window set up for 8 pm and, up until recently, it seemed to honor it. Yesterday I had to unplug the AC charging cable from the car and plug it back in to get the session to start.
Any ideas?
I went ahead and bought the official sun shade just to use up my 22k points. It's more like a reflective folding solid window shutter than a cloth and foil type I've used before.
Nice but overpriced.
