  1. Jim Farley interview with The Verge has some interesting Mach E nuggets

I read that the official Lightning launch is today. It would be informative to know how many Mach-E owners have reservations for the Lightning.
  2. Bi directional evse ?

The only EV that will be bidirectional by design and on sale up to now is the 2022 Ford F -150 Lightning truck. GM announced that the 2023 Chevy Silverado EV will do it but it is not official yet. Ford even posted that the Lightning can charge the Mach-E.
  3. Got ‘em all (bugs kills)

I don't have to do so because I don't have my Mach-E yet and we don't have those bugs. I have been driving cars for 54 years and I never get them on the nose or windshield on any of them.
  4. Would you have ordered the Mach E if there was no Tax Credit available?

I would have to buy it without any Federal tax credit because I pay no Federal taxes. I prefer a point of sale rebate.
  5. Key not detected error Stranded!

For the Faraday shield bag to work properly, it has to be grounded. Attach a jumper cable with alligator clips on each end to the bag and to a grounded bolt or screw..
  6. Vehicle Semiconductor Chips 101

There are both factual and grammatical errors in that post. I leave the search to each reader. As an EE for over 47 years, and having taught Electronics for ten, it was obvious to find some errors.
  7. Mach E AWD Equivalent MPG of ICE Cars in New England based on Gas Cost.

My Fusion Hybrid gets about 10 miles per dollar. Not as great as the Mach-E but it did cost much less than the Mach-E or the Lexus. If I had time, I can prove that it is the most cost efficient Ford ever made before the Mach-E. I also wish to point out that the best way to compare vehicles is...
  8. Filling a gas-powered vehicle can still be cheaper than charging an electric one

They have not taken into account that most EV owners charge in their garages or at their homes for low rates. Some charge for free. This last point is what attracts many new users that already have solar energy systems installed.
  9. Is it just me? The size of the MME in person?

My wife had a 1980 Mustang (Fox body) and found the Mach-E larger.
  10. I need to fill the frunk

If you want to put in something to give away, get prepackaged items that are dry, such as cakes, candy, or soft drinks that need no ice unless you want to put them in ice. Chicken wings are too greasy.
  11. The volume knob can actually be pushed in

Instead of Morse code, you can type ASCII code in binary. Then try machine code if you discover what processor the Mach-E uses.
  12. Two negative posts /s

See my post about the mat replacement at eBay. I remember seeing a Focus version.
  13. Two negative posts /s

Oh, now I understand! I replaced my mat with a rubber based version that has removable panels for the oil drain and filter access. The dealer was damaging the original mat due to its removal for each oil change. Driving through rain puddles may have weaken it. I found the rubber based version...
  14. Two negative posts /s

I have a Fusion Hybrid and I have never seen a diaper on it. Or do you meet the air "damper"?
  15. Glass shattered on an acceleration...any ideas?

According to the broken edges, it shattered out as if the cabin air pressure increased. Did you fart??
  16. The cost of gasoline never falls back to normal.

Regular gasoline hit an average of $1.05 a liter here in Puerto Rico. My Fusion Hybrid still hold two weeks worth of $0.83 gasoline in the 12 gallon tank, so I am okay until the end of March.
  17. Ford to Impose Non-Negotiable Pricing on EV Sales as Part of Model E Division Plan

You must had many bad events with several dealers. My dealer has been selling Fords since 1964 and my Fusion Hybrid has been my best vehicle. They are the first Ford dealer in Puerto Rico to sell hybrids, and the first to sell Broncos, Mavericks, and the Mach-E .
  18. When I charge to 100% I think it’s actually charging the full battery pack to 100%, not just my 88 kWh useable battery.

Maybe when you see excess electrons spill out of the charge port, then you really have charged the battery to its true 100% level?
  19. Mach-E Misinformation?

I cannot even travel over 200 miles in any direction from my home, unless I drive in circles, or end up in the sea. Any land point from my home is less than 50 miles away.
  20. Ford to split ICE, BEV businesses

They share parts and services between ICEV and EV so how can they split them? The best example is the F-150 line which has both power trains.
