Ford has made the Mach E dash like Tesla and other EV makers so that it looks familiar to current and prospective EV buyers. When you're new to the EV game you hook them with a great looking exterior but with some familiarity with a normal EV style dash treatment.
The rumors going around is the Corvette will become a sub brand like Mustang with a suv/cuv in the works. If the Mach E is successful I'd bet it'll be a EV like the Mach E.
Learned to drive in my moms 1968 Mustang hardtop. Had a 1979 Mustang Notchback which I sold and now own a 2015 Mustang Convertible. Looking forward to driving the Mach E.
When the Mach E gets into full production all the haters will go away and hate something else it's just that right now the Mach E is the flavor of the moment.
Very true if you want to win people over to a new product you have to give them something familiar so they have a reference point. Something to different and you won't get people to buy.
