  1. Tesla Supercharger Network vs. the World

It's best to just ignore him. He has a very irrational hatred of Tesla and will never accept anything even remotely positive about them. It seems to stem from them not having blind spot indicators... Which from what I've gathered from his posts is the single most important feature on a car.
  2. Update on Mach-E launch progress from engineering friends in Mexico

You wont get any REAL answers on that until they are being delivered to end customers. Asking people that work for Ford how it's going isn't really going to get you an unbiased answer.
  3. Polestar 2 US price announced

As with Android, you will likely be at Polestar's mercy for updates. Google won't be pushing direct updates to this most likely. That's where Android phones fall apart on updates. Google makes LOTS of updates to Android (see Pixel), it's when it requires LG, Samsung, HTC, etc etc etc to...
  4. Decided to cancelled Mach E for a Model Y

Says the person that doesn't daily drive a car with sub 4 second 0-60 :) I didn't floor it often in my old cars that were relatively fast (Taurus SHO, GTO, Wife's Charger RT). I can't stop doing it in my Model 3. The feel is intoxicating. Though you will likely get SOME of that feel with an...
  5. Mach-E Bang & Olufsen (B&O) sound system wins iF Design Award

That makes sense then. I've never heard the standard sound system. I have the LR AWD with the "premium audio" and it's the first stock system I've had that I have no intention of trying to upgrade
  6. Mach-E Bang & Olufsen (B&O) sound system wins iF Design Award

I'm assuming you have the base model 3? The high end model 3 sound system is one of the best factory setups in a car
  7. Mach E's Adaptive Cruise Control (without Hands-Free)

Really hard to make the system idiot proof. Same will happen with the Mach-E
  8. Mach E's Adaptive Cruise Control (without Hands-Free)

Resting your hand on the bottom of the wheel is enough to have the Model 3 not bother you the vast majority of the time. It's just enough resistance to trigger it. I rarely have to "wiggle" the wheel. Just as an FYI
  9. Cadillac Lyriq debut today - will Ford give us any news to steal their thunder?

His quote also leaves it open to start >100k lol. Not high 5 digits, not and 7 or 6 starting number. 100k fits that too. I'm not sure the point of the super high L2 charge either. 100 amp breaker requires i think 3 gauge wire? That's a heck of an install cost lol. Plus 48 amp chargers (so...
  10. What tax Incentives does your State or Country provide?

Ideally yes .. but it has it's own benefits. Low cost of living, easy commute, decent job (for now). If those change .. then yes, I would be looking elsewhere if we haven't moved out the olden days by then.
  11. What tax Incentives does your State or Country provide?

Good ole Kansas .. yup .. nothing but an additional fee when registering. Also looked into Solar. The ONLY energy company in Kansas actually found a way to make your bill more expensive (directly from them not including the cost of the solar) than just using their energy. So an impossible...
  12. Lucid Air ADAS technology (DreamDrive)

They just announced an expected 517 mile EPA rated range (independent company did the EPA tests). I'm curious to see what compromises they had to do to hit 60k. Right now the listed specs on the site are >400 mile range, 2.5 0-60, 200 mph top speed. I'm guessing that's a higher end package...
  13. The truth about Electrify America's progress and Traveling with the Mach E

I just watched that video .. woof... that's not a great experience. No reason those EA stations should be that unreliable. Also only charging 50-60kw looks unbearable.
  14. Roads Supported by Ford CoPilot 360 Assist 2.0

Just like people putting weights on the steering wheel on a Tesla to bypass the "attention nag" ... it's only a matter of time before someone wears blacked out glasses with eyeballs painted on the front to catch a few zzzzs in the Mach-E
  15. Anyone doing Ford Options?

Yes and no. The tax credit isnt' a guarantee. You have to have enough tax liability and receive the car before it's phased out. So it's still a 40% residual with some potential mitigating factors.
  16. Decided to cancelled Mach E for a Model Y

You missed about half of what I listed but that's ok.
  17. Decided to cancelled Mach E for a Model Y

Being able to enable it anywhere.. highways, cities, sharp bends, on ramps, off ramps... Everywhere. And yes before you say it.. you can do that without the FSD package.
  18. German: No touching Touchscreen allowed

I mean... If you want the exact same car you've always owned.. then sure it isn't it. But you literally just listed a bunch of stuff that once you do it once to either rarely have to do it again (adjust mirrors and such) or it becomes second nature. Also everything you listed here (Things like...
  19. Decided to cancelled Mach E for a Model Y

While that's not ideal.. it doesn't affect the function of the car. My Ford SHO had to have the turbos replaced 3 times in 3 years. Should no one every buy a Ford because of that? Did you ask Tesla to fix that? Autopilot is still a step ahead of the vast majority of other car systems. I had...
  20. Decided to cancelled Mach E for a Model Y

Is it crazy to spend $60k on a vehicle and that it would be slow, not fun to drive or woefully behind on tech/interfaces? It's a trade off. Yet again. Name an EV that's 60k that has near perfect build quality (no car manufacturer has perfect quality and it's very rare for a car to have "no...
