Just finished an 800 mile road trip through Eastern WA and OR in my 2021 Premium AWD EXT, my first with Tesla chargers in the mix. I used ABRP with subscription to do the planning and bottom line; first trip EVER where I had no issues whatsoever.
We”ve had soooo many bad experiences with EA...
I got my Tesla adapter in December, but haven't tried it yet. I basically always charge at home, only relying on external chargers for road trips over 200 miles.
I wanted to try out the Tesla adapter today, so I wouldn't be surprised by any potential issues if I had to use it in a true charging...
I hit my first Tesla Supercharger tonight. I have a 2024 Mach E. I am using a Lectron adapter. I didn’t think 23% at 40 minutes was normal. Does an adapter slow things down or are my expectations misplaced?
I paid $12.99 for the non-Tesla membership to get cheaper charging for a month during my roadtrip. I use the Tesla app to activate the charger and get the discounted rate. On multiple occasions I activated the charger using the Tesla app but the plug and charge protocol superceeded it, meaning...

Seen on Wednesday night at the local Tesla store in Chicago. They were closed at the time, but I’ll stop by today or tomorrow to take more pics. Quality of the class A surfaces look good. Gaps are consistent and seem pretty tight.
It’s still a very polarizing design. I personally think it looks...
I seem to have a compatibility issue between my 2023 Mach-E and my Tesla J1772 Wall Connector (charger). When initially connected the charger proceeds to the communications state as indicated on its LEDs, then the Mach-E blinks orange on its charge port indicating a fault. When I disconnect and...
I spent a long weekend in Portland, 4 days, and rented a 2023 Tesla Model Y from the Portland Airport Avis
GENERAL OBSERVATIONS
Overall, the Model Y was a great vehicle for vacation. Easy to drive, use, park, etc., and our accommodations had on-site charging so we never had to visit a gas...
While charging in Yreka, CA, this afternoon, an I-5 south bound driver said what looked like a northbound truckload of Teslas had caught fire south of Ashland, OR. We had passed such a truckload — all white 3s and Ys — earlier in the day. When we got to the burned wreckage he was talking about...
Opinion | Ford Versus Elon Musk’s Tesla: Guess Which One Is Cooler - The New York Times (nytimes.com)
P.S. I have a NY Times subscription - hope it allows others to read this article? If not, NY Times says I can 'gift' the article to others with this link...
I don't know if this will catch on, but in the face of some of the MME troubles that some have reported, I thought I'd start a thread of competitive ownership, quality, experience issues, etc. in the news. Yes, our MME's may have their moments... but at least wheels are standard and not an...

Looking for any feedback or experience people have had from owning both a Model 3 and Mach-E.
Considering possibly trading in our Long Range AWD Model 3 in for a AWD Mach-E (extended range either in Premium or California trim..)
Curious for comparisons on how it drives, daily living (i.e...
My apologies if this has been answered before. I am planning on buying a Mach E next week and plan on doing home charging using the supplied 240v charger. I also plan on buying a model 3 early next year.
My question is am I able to use the supplied Mach E charger to charge my Tesla from...
I was standing at a light where a Model Y driver pulled and stood next to me, normally my Mach-E garners no attention from the gazilion Teslas here in the bay, but this guy who was an older gentleman looked at me and gave me the thumbs up.
First thumbs up from a Tesla driver!
Just made me feel...
I'm about to go on a trip in a couple of weeks that sways from interstates and I'd like to keep a Tesla to Mach-E adapter in the car just in case.
There are plenty of choices and I don't know what to buy, what # of AMP do I need ...
Can someone tell me what to buy or make a recommendation that...
Do you expect Ford and other brands to react to this drop? With more than a thousand Mach-E available at the dealerships across the country, I'd expect more discounts / under MSRP offers with the pricing wars heating up. Thoughts?
The one on the left is Model Y and the left is Mach E. I'm starting to ackhnowledge the fact that the Mach E might just be too small for a family with 2 small kids.
I'm very eager to order mine but I think it's probably not a realistic car for me.
What do you guys think?
