02/05/22 - OBCC Update Available

As of today there's another update for the Job2/GT Line for the OBCC. This was not included in the previous updates from 01/24/22.

This module is directly responsible for DCFC so it's interesting to see it couple weeks after the Charge Curve update located here:

If the module remains available for the car by mid-next week I'll flash it and see if there's anything noticeable. My guess would be that this is just a follow up to bring the OBCC in line with the previous updates, but who knows!

As a friendly reminder, this update is not OTA at this time and we don't know why it was published. There are no release notes for these and if there's a TSB or recall it will be some time before it will show up online. Please don't take your cars to the dealer for this update as they will likely tell you to get lost.

EDIT: I have run a few Job1 VINs this evening and it's also available for Job1.

Good. When I take Shadowfax in for the dealer's THIRD G_D_ attempt at 21P22, maybe they'll get this updated OBCC module uploaded too.

I just checked my EU spec Job 1 RWD ER and it’s popped up for me as well.

Something to keep me busy on my Sunday afternoon now

Yeah I said that it was also available for job 1 in my post.

I always start out my posts with GT availability because that's what I have in the garage. Once I run enough VINs to confirm it's job 1 as well then I normally update my post.

From those who already installed this, no one has noticed anything different.

Just seeing this thread. I installed this update Saturday morning and did DCFC test. Nothing noticeable has changed that I can tell so far.
