It's a cryin' shame that the programmers at Ford are too stupid to tell us WHICH battery is the problem. How hard would it be to put '12V' in the error message somewhere? And how low is 'too low'? 60%? 70%?
Their attitude seems to be to hide as much technical detail from the driver as possible. This attitude would be fine if the car didn't require the user to do "the right thing" from time to time which is very hard without any guidance or info. If the car *truly handled* all this internally, then there would be no issue, but this forum's existence is testament that we are not *quite* there ;-)

Did Ford pull this update? I got the errors about low battery a few times, which never happens with updates, but now the update screen says that "Ford will release a new update as soon as possible." I still see the details about the previous update, but it has stopped trying to perform the update and there is no option to perform the update manually.

I am also interested in learning if this update got pulled. I tried to manually install the update early August as I got the same error as others about the battery being too low.

I had plugged in the car into my L2 charger.

Attached is what the Software screen is showing me since then.

For that update, the car needs to be unplugged. If your update isn’t installing, follow my guide to failed OTA updates.

I did that update with the car plugged in. However I got a different version that don't have the brake pedal feel, etc. I wonder why my car in Canada is not aligned with the one in the US? Coming from a Tesla, coming to a stop is terrible in the Mach-e with 1 pedal driving.

Edit. Added image.

If you ran it at the scheduled time or your car was done charging then it might have worked, but if you are actively charging when you hit “install now” it can cause an OTA failure since the charger can’t be updated while it’s in use. There are also model year differences.

Are you saying my 2024 won't have all the updates not listed in the foreseeable future? 🤔
