My car finally shipped! Just received an email this morning, estimated delivery 4/8-4/14.
I’m probably going to pass on it, if the tax credit is reduced at the end of the month. It’s not that I can’t afford the car without the credit, but at this point it’s the principle behind it. It’s been built since Dec 22nd and it just sat in Mexico for 3 months.

I bet you’re not the last one. I’m sure there are a lot more people who are not active in the forums going thru the same.
I’m actually contemplating picking up a GT off the lot for MSRP, but it’s not my #1 color choice and I wanted RWD for the extra range.

Agree with you!

It is the principal and if Ford logistics got their act together and truly shipped it out since it got built so quick as Priority 1 build, I would not be so soured.

Mine also sat in Mexico since 12/22 and delivery estimates kept slipping from early January - now 10 times to late March.

If I can't get the full tax credit, I will pass on mine and keep my Lightning...

My car was also showing in production 12/22 so i think you will be next. i did not get any notification, i found it from checking the website.

In production 12/22/22 and built 3/11/23? I guess it was caught up in the factory retooling and delayed until now. At least you know it exists.

Sorry. This has got to be killing you. I hope this is not another dagger, but a member I’m in touch with locally (MN) just picked up a Select from a dealer on Friday. In his message to me he said that its build date was 12/22. He said its trip log started on 2/24. I had actually stopped by that dealership several weeks earlier and saw the same Select and another vehicle, so it had been there since at least mid-February.

I’m equally baffled as to the disposition of your vehicle. When all is finally revealed, I’m sure there will be some story about some damage while moving it in the lot at Cuautitlan and their inability to repair it back in December as the factory shut down. That’s my guess. That and $5.00 will get you a coffee at Starbucks. Sorry you’re going through this hell.
