Well it just shipped I think last week he said from Mexico… all of us know it will be a lil bit from there. Especially with all the train delays and trucking issues. Hopeful by the end of March for him.

Is there a reason why Ford ships the long way (Mexico to KC, MO) for west coast deliveries ?

Isn't there a ship they can transport in 1 day from Mexico to Port Hueneme, CA like I have heard some others on this forum ?

I know people have mentioned it but mine also went by rail. It did not go to KC. Went Texas then shot across… but took forever to get to my dealership

TX to CA is lot shorter than MO to CA.

Well mine must be going to KC, MO - got another slipped week ETA:

It’s shorter but it had days in between sitting at each rail yard. It’s a brutal process.

Dang, Pat! So sorry to hear that. I'm sure you've asked people a million times, but there's no place that can give you an answer as to why all the delays? I feel for you and @NYSteve.

Like I keep saying.. As least his is out of Mexico!
I'm hoping that when my car finally DOES come, I will find a Kilo of coke in the trunk...

Yah, mine better have a kilo of opium in my frunk to allay pain that Ford has given me. ?

Oh wow( I keep checking to see if you got your car!! Ugh. Who would have thought a year ago this would be the case for some people? Sorry…. Your patience is enduring far longer than mine.

How is your new ride - is it performing well and has sufficient range ?

Luckily, I have a current EV that I was going to trade in but now that the delays will mean half tax credit or worse, I may have to skip on it and keep my current EV until Ford logistics gets their "you know what out of the you know where"...

All is well with it… no complaints, fun car, no range anxiety for sure.
And yes we all know that they know that we know their you know what’s have been you know where… you know? Here’s to you finally getting your car already:/

Got another update from Ford and got excited to see this email:

When I login, I get this:

Now it's April ETA- wondering now if I should skip on it since the IRS battery tax credit will certainly be done by then.

It's will be exactly 1 year since I ordered - is it still worth getting ?
