Not really… I mean, 2.5.2 either updated while I was driving to work, or within the first few minutes after I got here. I feel like 2.5.1 is the one that adds the capability and programming, then 2.5.2 enables it if it all went smoothly.

Login online and check your Ford Connected Services and see if BC is there to activate!

I didn’t have to do anything. It shows as activated in connected services, along with an expiration date.

Not really… I mean, 2.5.2 either updated while I was driving to work, or within the first few minutes after I got here. I feel like 2.5.1 is the one that adds the capability and programming, then 2.5.2 enables it if it all went smoothly.

You don't think enablement of BlueCruise is worthy of a Heads Up in the release notes?

Same with 2.5.1: that one introduced BlueCruise messaging on the dash, and gaze monitoring with the "watch the road" warning, but it isn't mentioned in release notes.

Games were mentioned when those were added. Just thought that's kinda a weird choice, is all.

I don’t disagree that they could (or better should) have mentioned it. With a marching band and everything. But, knowing how engineers think, I can see them saying to themselves “all we did in this update is check a hash and then flip a bit “

I wouldn’t be surprised if the final release of this OTA has more detailed release notes. Might just be a generic message for the beta testers.
