I recently started a buy back case with Ford on my 22 Mach-E. I loved the car but I no longer like feel safe in it due to the problems I have had in the last 6 months. I am not sure if they would approve it since I am coming up 3 years. The car has been in repair more this year then I have had really a chance to use it.

Door Latch Fault - 2.5 month repair
- Door replaced (Electrical failure caused the car to not lock anymore)
Trunk Leaking - 3 weeks
Front Sensor - 2 weeks

Car is currently in the shop now for a Camera Sensor failure. This camera goes off and on so it almost caused me to have an accident on the highway when I was in Blue Cruise.

I am hoping Ford can help me with this. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do at this point?

Oregon’s lemon law extends protection to two years or 24,000 miles from the purchase or lease of a new vehicle.

Coming up to 3 years of ownership? It’s almost time to trade it in and get a different vehicle anyways. lol. Hold off until the 25s are selling again then get one of those.

I had a period of time (pretty much forgotten now) where the dealer had my car off and on for a total of 4-1/2 months while trying to fix a problem. Ford was pretty good about the situation, although I was quite frustrated by the dealer a lot of the time. I’m glad I hung in there because we love the car and the cheap transportation it affords us. So my recommendation is to hang in there, let them fix the issues, quit trying to use Blue Cruise and drive the car.

Ford is not going to buy back the car over those issues. That’s what warranty is for.
