Seems to be getting worse and worse for my car. 2023 CR1 with less than 6K miles. I started hearing a thudding sound that seemed to be coming from the front of the car. It could only really be heard while at 15-30 mph. Then all these lights came up such as AWD Off, Powertrain malfunction - reduced power, 1-pedal fault, hill start assist fault and some pre-collision faults. When those lights came on, the noise actually stopped. I called my dealer last week and couldn't get an appointment until this Thursday.

Fast forward to today. I'm backing my car out at a grocery store and I go to put it in drive, and I get the dreaded stop safely now. The car won't shift and I'm stuck diagonally in the middle of the parking lot. Eventually it let me shift to drive and I drove home. I'm looking on my FordPass and it now says I have a HVB warning (did not say that previously). Any advice, or can anyone possibly see what codes my car is showing? I'm not so confident I want to drive this car till Thursday..

I think I saw someone mention in a similar thread that the thudding issue (and these other symptoms) could be related to a low 12V battery. Might be worth checking

This looks like a possible mechanical failure of the front motor that is destroying the motor position encoders.
thank you for looking, and I think you’re spot on. A technician posted about a front motor replacement recently and they had similar issues to what I’m dealing with. Definitely rough

You were correct. My dealership just called and said they will be replacing my front motor. ETA on the part is 3-5 days but we’ll see..
