2024 premium welcome lighting

When I brought my new Mustang home, the welcoming lighting worked in my garage when I approached my car. Over the next several days i created our settings. I suddenly noticed the welcome lighting only came on outside my garage but stopped working inside my garage. Does anybody have any idea why?

Keyfob or PAAK is probably within constant range of your vehicle when parked in your garage, so after a while it doesn't happen.

I can't use PAAK at home because of this.

Welcome lighting is significantly more consistent for me when using the fob instead vs PaaK.

Do you lock the car in your garage? I think it only works when locked.
