That sucks, but likely once the new BECM is installed everything will be fine. It's good that they found the problem and that Ford has a replacement on the way. Hopefully the loaner is a nice car.
Loaner is another Mach-E, don't know what year yet, picking it up later.

Hi All
Wife had her car now for two days and the 12v battery is already down to 11.5v 45%, will not charge and displays “pull over and get out of car safely” also battery icon showing in red on display. Luckly its in our driveway, will not go into Drive. Being towed to the dealer/service. Has charging error when plugged in. Yes, we had it plugged in overnight and when we looked this morning Ford Pass showed charging error, went out to unplug and plug back in same thing. :mad:(n)?
Didn't do an error code check while I had the obd plugged in so dont know if there are any errors codes.

Seems kinda crazy, but the very existence of this goofy "battery sync protocol" kinda proves that Ford implemented some dumb static logic about when to charge the 12v system based off every kind of nonsense except the battery's actual current voltage! I assume they had their reasons, but this is the direct and obvious cause of a lot of MMEs with dead 12vs that have fully charged HV batteries with fully functional onboard chargers that were never turned on in time... Control Theory 101.

The problem with OP is there is a high voltage fault, so the 12V battery can't recharge since the high voltage battery is effectively shut down. It's not a BMS issue. If the high voltage system was working, then the 12V would be recharging itself.
Like a hypoxic brain, an MME's onboard computer can have all manner of sensory hallucinations when operating on low 12v voltage... Charge the 12v, then see what's what.

I went back to L1 recently. Unless I need a fast charging I'll stay with L1.

Is that number direct to Ford or what? Maybe I missed this in other threads?

Yes it’s too ford they can provide 12v battery SOC and voltage info as well as answering other basic general questions about the car. I only occasionally reach out about my 12v battery as I don’t really have any other questions.

Yes it’s too ford they can provide 12v battery SOC and voltage info as well as answering other basic general questions about the car. I only occasionally reach out about my 12v battery as I don’t really have any other questions.
My Uniden R8 radar detector (tapped into the mirror's wiring harness) has an option to constantly display the 12v system's current voltage which is nice. I've never seen it dip below 13.1v in operation yet, and you can see when the DC charger is operating as the voltage jumps to around 14.5v.
