I'm guessing their telematics told them everyone turned off the interior sensors because they're annoying. I'm also glad the tilt sensor is gone, but I can see that being useful if you live in a place where vehicle wheels are regularly stolen. I always had to leave a door open when I jacked up my car which was annoying (for me) so I'm happy to see them both gone. Hopefully it helped offset the heat pump cost.

Nobody is stealing EV’s, popular vehicle are often stolen, not low demand ones aka any and all EV’s.

Now for folks dim enough to leave valuables in sight in the interior the motion sensors won’t dissuade smash and grabbers as they are gone in seconds before the neighbors can even figure out who’s alarm is going off.

I've never turned the motion sensors off. I guess I don't hang out in my locked car as much as others? ??‍ Strikes me more like more de-contenting to save a few cents per unit.

It’s a common problem if you drive with companions - a spouse or kids - who prefer to hang in the car while you run into the store to do an errand. I had to duct tape over all my sensors after about the dozenth time of my alarm going off. It’s too much hassle toggling off the sensors every damned time.

In the UK we need every security sensor possible. If this applies to UK vehicles the Mach E's will become as expensive to insure as a Tesla. I find it no hassle at all to turn off the interior sensor if required. (First world problems)
