I don’t buy all this stuff. Make sure the automatic headlights are turned off. Make sure your windshield wipers are turned off. Make sure everything is turned off in the car I mean come on!
Well, I’ve said it on here before general the guys FDRS you’re getting updates but your system is not calling Home whatever that means updates have been sent earlier but you’re not phoning home, they say we’ve never seen that before with a vehicle that’s communicating so well.
And you can’t simply turn off the dial for automatic headlights because it’s turned on on the big screen soon as you turn the car on it comes right back on again.
And one time my SYNC was out of date on my ICE Mustang called the Ford dealership I’ve never been to they said sure just pull into Customer Service here and they hooked up the computer updated my system and later on this was the same people I bought my EV Mustang from and you go there with that car. They won’t even touch it lol
Yep, that was something I asked the Ford customer representative this morning. They said me to turn off everything on the car and try for 2 to 3 weeks and if I still don’t receive any updates, then take to Dealer for a PAID Service and they would check for it and if Ford has pushed it already, they would just update it . And if not, I can pay the service fee and come back home without an update.
For what it's worth, I leave my headlights on auto, rarely if ever manually engage the parking brake (never in my garage), and only charge once or twice a week, and I get updates all the time.
The ford rep was saying that my VIN part of the batch that ford has pushed an update to. But, Just because I don’t do any of these I might not be receiving an update or there could be something that should be checked out at a dealer as a paid service
How many complaints have you seen after an update to peoples vehicles on here? More than I like to count I’m kind of like I don’t know what more the updates are gonna do for me. I’m not getting any warnings. It might say drive mode not available once or twice a month, but that’s about it. Knock on wood so far.
