Mine is going in for updates tomorrow due to an issue anyway. But I am curious about the JSON people check on the website, most peoples seems to say:

inhibitStatus: DE_INHIBITED

but mine says INHIBITED.

Though obliviously the car is not stuck in inhibited because I can drive it. Might be why I haven’t got any updates…or because it sat unloved on the lot for 10 months.

What do you mean by checking it on the website? where to check it? Can you help me with the guide or something?

So if you have the adapter, they’ll be something preventing me or you from charging at a superstation or any Tesla charging station because there are ones around me that say not compatible but then the ones right close to me are compatible but without an adapter, I don’t know if I can charge or not?

So now this is just a non-technical guess, if Ford sends you the adapter, you should be able to charge at a Tesla location.

No, nothing like that. If they push you an update to charge. You should be able to do it with any third-party adapters.

Obviously, I don’t travel so I’ve never had to use anything except the local Electrify America just to burn up the free kilowatt they gave me. But if you have the adapter, it is a simple as that it’s just because the plug is different. It shouldn’t prevent the car from charging. I don’t understand why it would prevent it.
