After the update finished, the only (now regular) odd thing I noticed was that I had to turn off the ask on exit for the alarm system. I drove it around and tested hands-on and hands-off assisted driving and everything seems fine so far.

If someone applies this CMR module update manually via FDRS, could you post details about the module software version? If we can verify that the update is available in FDRS, I may manually apply it instead of waiting for it via OTA.

PTS is showing a CMR update available for you. Remind me later to check in FDRS to confirm for you.

I have the broken BC and the update has so far failed. Not sure if it can’t over write the stuck image that caused BC to fail or not. Hopefully will go through tonight and will let you know.

Thanks for letting me know! According to OP, Ford requires a 50 minute inhibit, in addition to a bunch of preconditions. Hopefully it goes through for you tonight. I usually get OTAs pretty early, but haven't seen this one yet. Good luck.

Most likely failed due to low battery conditions. Throw a charger on your LWB or try one of Mach-Lee's charging methods:

LVB is currently at 80% so hoping as it stays on charge today/tonight it will go through. I am hoping when it first attempted LvB was low which is why it failed and not because it can’t overwrite whatever is causing Bc to fail.

I can check with your VIN. PM if you prefer to keep it private.

Edit: In your case, it failed due to a manifest mismatch. The OTA process never progressed far enough along to where your car reported the battery stats to the cloud.

I have been waiting for this update since December. Long story short, my first edition had a failing 12v battery. They replaced it as well as the battery control module and the gateway module. This broke my phone as a key and connectivity. Per my advisor, ford rewrote the gateway module software, and they were awaiting the new update from Ford.

Last night, after I updated, I tried to setup PaaK, and it failed. Today, I tried again and it worked. Now my app is finally working again, and I have the long overdue, working, frunk button.

This update made my weekend.

Yup, read his post. My LVB is usually hovering around 80-95% (obd confirmed) at all times. Going to just wait it out a couple days to see what happens, I guess...

Watch for an opportunity to “Update Now”. Drive the car, plug it into an L2 charger, turn off the headlights and update now. That usually works for me.

I just discovered that I think this update unlinked my phone to my profile.

I noticed because I remote conditioned the car today and it was on the guest profile when I got in the car. That is a signal to me that the phone might be unlinked to my profile, as a previous update last year did the same thing except that it took me weeks to realize it wasn't the guest profile but rather just an update that unlinked the phone. And when I checked this time it indeed was unlinked.

It was easy to link again.

It also changed my radio to a random AM station. Also an easy fix.
