i am less than a week old owner of an AWD ER RR. most of you have more experience with the MME than me but thought i might post my initial thoughts to add to the knowledge base.
i come from driving a Jag and am used to the interior style and driving comfort of such vehicles.
overall, i am a happy Mustanger
final thoughts

- the MME for sure has a firmer ride. On motorways and smooth roads it is absolutely fine. on less even roads, the bumps take getting used to.
- my family haven't noticed any difference about the ride, especially back seat occupants ... which makes me wonder if it is me who is overly conscious of the ride
- so far i have had ZERO issues with the car. wait, i take that back! one of the Bang and Olufsen silver buttons fell off on the second day of my possession, but superglue has fixed that
- FordPass and the software issues
- i don't use FP and don't care about whatever issues the software has even though they are commented on every day
- i bought the car for itself and not for the software
- obviously, other folks might have differing views on this
- i did a 300 mile round trip yesterday from somewhere near Northampton to somewhere in Manchester
- 90% motorway driving in our usual grey, overcast, rainy weather
- aircon turned fully on, temp set to 22 C
- dual pedal operation (haven't tried one pedal yet)
- started off from home with 82% charge, 146 miles on the dash
- reached Mancs with 24%, 60 miles predicted on GOM. didn't stop anywhere and added another 153 miles. by my calculations, that's 3.1 miles/kwh
- on the return trip charged at the AC Marriott in Salford Keys to get to 100 miles on GOM. this charging point is okay. the hotel allows free parking so long as you register at the desk.
- drove to the new 150kw charging station put up at MFG in Stretford. this place does not show up on Google maps, Ford Navigation. attqched image gives the address.
- charged to 80% and set off with 305 miles on the dash. reached home with 456 miles and 28% remaining. that's 3.56 miles/kwh by my calculation
- wipers, headlamps, work perfectly
overall, i am a happy Mustanger
final thoughts
- feeling smug at the double-takes is a Mustanger's right!
- MMEs seem to be rarer than moondust in UK since i didn't see another one
