360 Cameras Fault?

So, I purchased my Mach E Select with supposed comfort/tech package, used with 870 miles.

When I got home and started really messing with the cameras, it said “front camera fault” when I initially looked at them. Thought that was weird, so I did a reset to see if it was a bug. I can get the bottom portion of the screen to show the back camera, but the top half just shows the little car diagram and nothing else.

Here’s where things are weird. Or maybe I’m just ignorant. I know where the camera is on the back, I can see the cameras on the side mirrors, but I cannot locate a camera on the front?! I’ve looked over tons of pictures and I swear my car does not have this front camera. Yet the manual shows a brief overview of the 360 view.

I’m very confused. Am I just dumb, or dumb.

You sure what you saw on the mirrors were cameras and not the pony projectors? I totally made that mistake when I first got mine. Turned out mine only had the backup camera and the 360 cameras were not included.

the only thing that’s odd was the weird glitch that said “front camera fault, contact dealer” that appeared for a split second. How could it have a fault if it doesn’t exist? Maybe a glitch? Lol.

when I press the camera button it shows a split screen—the bottom has the reverse camera and the top has just a blue box with the diagram of the little car, and I can toggle one switch in the right hand corner on and off for the parking assist thing.

It may be referring to the camera at the top of the windshield that's used for lane centering. It should be pretty easy to tell if you have the front camera or not. It would be right here:

That makes sense! There is definitely no front camera in the grille, I looked everywhere last night. The error hasn’t popped up again either.

I think we’ve settled it now. ?

Yeah this further solidifies you have no front camera. If you did, pressing camera in settings pulls up the front camera.
