" The only thing Level 2 means is 240 volts, which your house already receives for appliances like a clothes dryer, electric oven or central air conditioner whether you use these items or not. Unfortunately, voltage is just one factor behind the power that charges a battery; current is the second factor, and the amount of current supported by Level 2 extends from 12 to 80 amps. "I mention this ONLY because I have not seen anyone reference it yet. The Ford provided L2 charger outputs at 32 amps, which I think is the L2 standard. Other fast chargers, i.e. L3 and L4 output at higher amps. Good to know that other chargers can adjust the amperage. I've had my MME for one month and use the Ford Pass App 'Departure Time' feature often due to cold weather. It allows you to set a time to depart, which the vehicle uses to warm or cool the cabin and to prep the high voltage battery, by drawing current through the charger rather than through the high voltage battery.
