Yes, I knew that. I just didn’t know where they show blue Cruise when it updates at all all I know is it work fine today.
If you're waiting for BC 1.4 to come in via OTA, then don't hold your breathe, my friend.

I wasn’t waiting for it. I was just seeing everybody talk about it and just curious how do you know you got it or whatever thanks.

Well, someone just reported they got BC 1.3 a few minutes ago by OTA. Maybe you could have held your breathe after all. :ROFLMAO:

The whole thing about having your car connected to Wifi seems to be somewhat of a myth. Other's on this forum have stated that the Mach E only receives downloads from Ford while you are driving the car, and in an area that receives good AT&T Wireless coverage. I did not believe this initially. But after owning my car for several months now, I can honestly say that every update my car has received, has been received while driving. The update does usually install overnight at the scheduled time. But as far as the actual download from Ford, it only seems to happen while driving. And no, you do not need to keep the car on overnight.
EDIT - prior to the MME, I had a 2020 Escape Hybrid, which actually did receive updates while connected to WiFi.
That description does not mesh with my personal experience over 2 1/2 years. I have received and installed many OTAs while my vehicle was in a garage for two or more days parked very near my home WiFi router with a strong signal. Also, it is well indicated on this board that some OTAs require a minimum SoC on the LVB before an install will commence and/or complete. So that variable overrides the motion-state of the vehicle in all cases.

I have also downloaded OTAs while driving. One in particular on the way to a multi day stay at the dealer for software fresh-up among other things, where the module was instantly installed in the parking lot while I checked in at at the service desk ?‍♂. The dealer and I had a good laugh on that one. So I'd say that driving has a good chance of topping up the LVB so that a given OTA will spark up an update session accordingly for certain modules. Otherwise, mostly it is an opaque waiting game for our perspective. In addition, some OTAs positively will not install while driving when "inhibit mode" is required for that particular update.

I got nothing yet, after 4 days owning it off the lot. Its set to automatic updates and I set it to 1am. Car connected to my home's Wifi. Do I have to keep the car on overnight?
Obviously new to the MME lofestyle?

Anyone else seeing the time change from accurate (auto time is/was on) to being 12:00am?
Also started my 23 GT in the garage just now and it warned me that hill assist is unavailable. Really odd bug.
I was plugged in still, just wanted to see if BC 1.3 was gonna come through ?

The 6.14 update reset the alarm from "off" to it's default "on".
And the prefered charging times settings back to it's default "none".

how do you know what version of software you have?
It display for me at the bottom of the account view just below the Log Out button. I have the IOS version. You can also go to the App Store and look at version history to see the current version. Looks like 5.0.2 is the current release - three weeks ago.

I saw in Reddit that the recent update to improve updates, actually allows the HVB to trickle charge the LVB during an update. The reason we weren’t getting large updates, they said, was because some were depleting the LVB during the update and basically bricking the car.
Not sure if it’s true but I hope so. If it is true we might see more frequent updates In the future

That's the Fordpass version. Not the Mach-e update everyone is talking about.
