In the beginning of September, I finally could attend the presentation of the Mach-E in Marseille, France. :)

So I could see, sit and touch the Mach-E IRL, and take a look at some interesting features.

Here is a short video of the 360° view displayed on the 15.5" screen. I post it because I didn't see it anywhere.

The driver's door was opened and the left side view is messy. But you can see people coming from the front and passing along the left side.

You can notice there is a blind spot / delay between the front view and the side view. So for me, it is not really a 360° view.

Can you host this somewhere? Not keen on downloading and just opening stuff up.

I would say that its a 360° view the same as Tesla has autopilot. It's still more than most cars have, so imma rock with the term "360° view." LOL!

PS - Thanks for posting this. We need more like it!

Why is the lower view of the front and not the rear of the car?
I think it was the setting on at this moment. May be the standard setting.
Useful when you get out of a parking lot or garage.
Rear view is automatic when you select reverse gear.

I hope the rear view can be selected at any time, especially for a better rearview than the mirror.

If I'm pulling forward into a parking space, I'd like to see how close I'm getting to obstructions like tall concrete curbs.

I assume when we switch to reverse gear, the camera also switches.

Edit: I posted without reading the later replies first. Sorry!

Isn't that how all 360 views work on cars? They have to distort and mess with the image in order to give a birds eye view because they are really trying to show what's near the car when parking.

Yup. Otherwise they'd need to raise a very tall pedestal or fly up a quad copter to get the proper view. :)

That is the most ridiculous setting I have ever seen. The winshield provides the front view. The tiny rear window (also blocked by headrests) is the problem, and a while driving forward, a rear camera via button press like Tesla has would be helpful.
