A2Z Stellar Adapter Delivery Times

I ordered this back on March 1st as a lot of my local level 2 charging options are Tesla/NACS only. I haven't gotten any notification on shipping, but they do claim that it takes "5-10 business days to ship." Has anyone else ordered one from them recently?

I placed order on 3/6. No ship date yet. However, when I placed my order it said 1 - 2 days shipping for the typhoon pro and 5 - 10 “business” days for the stellar adapter (I ordered both). I’m assuming the delay is because of the stellar. Seems like yours should have shipped by now? Was hoping mine would ship by end of this week or early next week. Now not so sure!

Did you contact A2Z and ask for the status of your order? I contacted them about my order that seemed stalled and the next day it shipped.

Got a response. Apparently they got a huge surge of orders but plan to getting a new batch and shipping them out Thursday. I'm assuming next Thursday (March 27) at the latest as today is Thursday, but they could've just gotten the days of the week confused.

Makes sense. I’m thinking they got a big surge of orders from the US - people trying to beat any potential tariffs. I returned my Lectron, as I could get both the typhoon pro and the stellar for only a bit more than just the Lectron. No real issues with the Lectron, though. Got 10% off the A2Z bundle (first time order, subscribed to email, etc).

Here’s reply from A2Z:

“Dear Bob,

Thank you for your patience. We apologize for the delay.

The NACS To J1772 Adapter is currently out of stock due to an unexpected delay in stock. However, we're expecting new stock to arrive by the end of this week.

Once received, we will begin shipping orders between Monday and Tuesday by Express shipping without charge, and you can expect your item to arrive within 1 to 2 business days after shipment.

However the Typhoon pro adapter is in stock right now, and we can ship that one to you first if you wish. Please let us know how to proceed.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to fulfilling your order soon.

I think it’s great that they offered to send me the typhoon pro separately - at an added expense to them. If I were heading out for a trip, I’d take them up on that, But next week is fine for me.

Still pretty close to their original schedule. Happy with the support so far.

As you've learned, A2Z has been somewhat overwhelmed lately. I ordered the same adapter and, after weeks, received this email from them:

Dear Customer,

We sincerely apologize for the delay regarding your order. Please be assured that your order will be dispatched next week with express shipping. Due to an unexpected surge in demand driven by the product's quality and popularity, we have encountered higher-than-anticipated order volumes.

I received my adapter yesterday, 3/19 having ordered it on 2/17, so a little over a month delay.

My replacement is on the way currently. It’s somewhere between Colorado and California.

I emailed them to check status and they emailed me back and it was shipped out the next day.

They said the delay was due to higher volume of orders etc…

I’m not worried as I have the Ford adapter but since they have a recall on the original adapter why not get the Typhoon Pro.

I got mine yesterday. Haven't been able to try them out yet, but they do feel real solidly built when holding them in my hand.

I got mine today - and I agree. Solid feel and I love that they each came in their own case. Also didn’t realize that the destination charger has a key lock. That’s a nice touch! Still need to try them out.
