My andriod auto keeps failing/disconnecting on my 2023 GT. I'm on update 6.13.0. I have tried to reset sync and Bluetooth/wifi but sometimes, it works for a bit then fails or fails to connect at all. I'm can still see that my phone is still connected since I have access to the recent contact screen, so I have to either resync with foward/down buttons or go directly to andriod autothrough the menus. I have a Samsung 23 Ultra with updated software and on andriod auto. AA was working fine for a few months with occasional disconnection here and there but they're frequent now after the update? Or maybe Spotify or maps is messing it up. I will still need to test it without Spotify playing since I mainly use AA for music and Google maps. I have read all the topics in this forum and I tried all the methods but I still don't have a fix for this and worse case is that I transition to USB. If anyone could help me or direct me to a topic / forum that I've missed, that will be much appreciated. Ty!

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

This is a problem with the S23 Ultra and not your car. I have both the S23 Ultra and a Pixel 8 Pro. The S23U is guaranteed to be a bad time in the car for AA Wireless. It will not work on wireless with any reliability due to some bug introduced in the One UI 6 release (none of the updates since release have corrected this).

The Pixel 8 Pro, by comparison, is 100% solid on AA Wireless in my experience.

So, for now, my S23U is resting in a drawer until I see some news that Samsung has "woken up" and fixed their "flagship" device. Ugh.

Reddit has several threads on the One UI 6 breaking AA Wireless now, so there is hope for this to be fixed... some day.

Here's an example, for your reference:
AA Not Automatically Connecting After One UI 6.0 Update : AndroidAuto (reddit.com)

If you want to save yourself a headache, turn off the "Wireless Projection" function under the Connectivity section of the settings menu. This will force the car to only accept USB-connected AA connections. If you do not disable the setting, AA will reconfigure itself silently to work wirelessly and then lead to another, random/spontaneous, failure.

Sad times. At least its a phone issue and it was working fine until recently.

TYTY! for the response, I might as well use USB-Connection until they / S23U fixes itself.

Same issue here with a Oneplus Open. It was fine with my Pixel 6 Pro, but with the Oneplus Open it works most of the time, but will disconnect randomly.

I've noticed if I plug the phone into a charger (using a cigarette plug adapter), then it almost always disconnects from AA wireless within 30 seconds. Not sure what the issue is, but it's the phone for sure, not the car.

I have the OnePlus open, if I don't get the failed connection at least 2x a day I'll be surprised, for me it started after the 6.13 update and the few random ones including the am station update as well.. prior to these update, I never had this issue..
