Does anyone have a copy of the actual internal memo from Ford about adding the prep kit or could tell me how to tell my dealer where to find it?

They seem to have no idea what is going on.

it was mentioned in an earlier thread that it had been done automatically already but they can’t confirm this.

Your Mach-E needs the Active Park Assist-Prep Kit (16H) option added in order to schedule for production. Dealers were supposed to do this manually starting March 25th and inform customers. It appears many dealers did not read the memo so orders have been stuck since then. Ford will be automatically adding 16H to all unscheduled Mach-E orders as of today (5/9), which should allow them to be scheduled.

I would recommend calling your dealer tomorrow and verifying that option 16H has been added to your order, and that there are no compatibility errors or material holds. Status in WBDO should say Unscheduled/Clean, that is the only way your order will be scheduled for production. If your sales associate does not know how to check order status in WBDO, ask to speak to the sales manager. Checking for holds is amateur stuff for an internet sales manager but some dealers have no clue. You've been waiting on them to make the change.

Everyone with unscheduled 2022 orders should be checking with their dealer to make sure they have Unscheduled/Clean status so your order isn't waiting on dealer action.
