I had it on my Select. I really never used it...and I'm not a good parker. I tested it out a lot when I first got the car. It hit a few curbs and almost some cars. I was disappointed to hear that it wasn't on my new GT, just cuz I want everything :), but in all honesty it didn't work that great all the time. I don't miss it. I am more excited that I got a fob that opens the frunk...I probably won't use that either, but like that I have it.

Fob that opens the frunk? Did you purchase a different fob?

Since I got the second row of buttons in the FordPass app, I use the frunk open button quite liberally when exiting the grocery store or the pet store. And every time I visit a choke’n’puke. I don’t like making my cabin smelling like food. ??

I saw some youtube videos of it in action on a few cars including ford and it seemed very basic. It took several attempts to simply back into a spot which I am perfectly capable of doing on my own.

I am more interested in Ford allowing us to do something else with that button. Camera view would be nice.

Yeah I bought a Lightening Fob with my Ford Points. It has a button that will open the Frunk if yours will open electronically. Only took like 3 mins to program if you already have 2 fobs. See if yours opens electronically first. Put your door pass code in and then immediately hit the 7-8 button and hold it. If the frunk opens then you can program a fob to open it.

Thanks @generaltso.
Anyone have an "inside scoop" on timing?
Here's my take on this. Active Park assist was completely dropped from 2023 MY. I doubt we would see anything in the next year. If Active Park assist returns to 2024 MY, then Ford may roll out a package to install for those with a prep kit. I doubt it will be $325, the labor alone to install would be greater.

Well, if we're not going to see it for a couple of years, maybe it will be a helluva lot better when it does arrive.
And now I've learned about the F150 Lightning SuperFob - nice! Thanks @HuntingPudel

For me the real question is are we going to be notified by Ford when it is available or are we expected to just periodically check on the internet for when it does become available?

It can't have more capabilities than the hardware on the vehicle permits... It already does its job.

I would fully expect that WHEN it's available AT EVERY DEALERSHIP, you MIGHT get a letter saying you can contact your dealership. Figure 2024 or later.

What do the '23s have in place of the parking switch hardware?
