Point being: LKA is not in line with my expectations which I consider dangerous at times. My opinion, you're welcome to take it or leave it.
Do you consider LKA dangerous in of itself? Or was your use of it dangerous because you thought it did something it was not designed to do?

This.

Seems this came somewhat full circle because he admitted that the capabilities of the system were not in line with his expectations.

I think the same goes with expectations of his posts here and the thread.

He came in not understanding how the systems work (that’s fine, it’s a forum it’s how people learn), but then also blaming the wrong system and arguing back when people kept repeating how it works, and which system does what.

It took multiple pages of people paying the same thing before he finally conceded.

Just reactivated ACC after stopping at a stop sign and it accelerated to 65 in a 50 mph area. Had to quickly brake to avaoid an emergency stop. I have commented on this before but this was scary. Ford has got to do something about this before someone gets killed.
Dude, if your cruise was set at 65mph, it stands to reason that re-engaging it will cause it to speed up to 65mph. Am I reading your story wrong? It doesn't matter if it's adaptive or regular cruise control. And that feature on any car will act the same. There is no recognition between your cruise control and what speed zone your in. Unless, you have the speed recognition setting on. And it sounds like that is what you need to do. It is NOT on by default.
