Amazon Music not working

I have been trying to get the Amazon music app to work through Carplay for a little while and I can't get it to work at all. Has anyone else had any success in playing Amazon Music through Carplay?

I think it's a problem with the Amazon app because I have the exact same problem in the MME and in my wife's RAV4 Prime with either of our iPhones. Other music apps work fine in both.

I don't even have my Mach E yet but I've been having this issue recently in my wife's Subaru. Must be an app issue.

I've been having Amazon Music issues on Android Auto for quite a while as well. Multiple rental cars, the Malibu I had before the MME. I find that if I manually open Amazon Music on my phone after connecting to the car it operates normally for the rest of the drive. Maybe that will work on the iPhone too.

After downloading IOS 15.0 my Amazon music would be very finicky for CarPlay. I have to make sure it's up and running before I get into the car and even after that I have to select retry on MME screen to fully see it on my car. Never had an issue till IOS 15 was loaded

I tried mine once and it seemed to work. i have an iphone 12, but have not tried it since the ios update.

I use Amazon music daily and it has been buggy for years. Doesnt matter if it is ios, android, even the Echos themselves. Frustrating but not a Sync issue.

My Amazon Music has been working okay (some minor connection issues every now and then that I won't complain about), but I am considering switching to Spotify due to the fact that I can use the button on the steering wheel to activate Siri and ask it to play any song I'd like with Spotify. I thought for sure that Amazon Music used to do that until recent updates, but I may just be confusing that with a Spotify trial I had going. Siri tells me that it cannot find an app to do this when I only have Amazon Music on my phone.
