Hi! I got my MME in February and LOVE it..overall! But I'm repeatedly having trouble with Android Auto and it's driving me nuts! It will work great for a couple weeks, and then it can't find my phone. I then have to delete it from the car and then set it up again. Anyone else have this issue? If so we're you able to rectify it?

Not having connection issues but the software freezes up daily and constantly fails to load the bottom two tiles. So overall it's a mess.

Out of curiosity, which phone are you using?

I have this problem often. For my pixel 6a, I've found that turning Bluetooth off/on solves it most of the time, and it solves connecting the Ford app as well (most of the time). Sometimes a full phone restart is needed. It's a dumb pain, especially PAAK, but I've gotten used to it.

The new UI sucks, I hate not being able to close google maps, it can't handle a phone call, it sucks battery, and causes nuclear meltdowns of my phone. I disconnected it last week and am streaming Spotify over BT for music. Since music was really the only thing I used Android Auto for, it hasn't been much of an impact so far. Overall, the good parts just haven't been quite good enough to make up for the bad parts.

I play audio books on my S9. They automatically play via BT. Then when Android Audio connects, they stop playing, and I have to hit play again. And then some miles down the road I get "Wireless Connection Failed" when my phone is still in the charging tray. If I can reconnect via BT, it's fine. Otherwise, I have to plug-in. Sometimes my phone won't connect. I have to wait until a traffic light and reboot the car, the phone, or both. I shutdown my phone at night, so it's always a clean reboot in the morning. There have also been times when I've had to completely remove and re-pair my phone. Android auto is better than it was in the beginning, but it's still awful.

Hi there, Rebecca. This android auto concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Mach-E. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.
