I checked my iPhone battery usage - Reading this forums posts uses 30% of my battery, Fordpass only 3%.

android fordpass battery drain was very high before, is even higher now.
Obviously no fix for android users from ford.

Yeah, Since this newest update my battery is draining quicker than it has been also. But, PAAK has been working a bit better too.

Android- Samsung Note 10+... its draining like crazy after latest update. even my phone showing warning that FordPass is loading the system...

I'm using a OnePlus 9Pro running Android 11 and the latest Ford Pass... Initially, the app drained the battery, but I went into the battery settings in Android and set the app to "optimize". I also hit "cancel" in the notification panel when Ford Pass tries to connect PAAK in the background and I'm not near the car (which trains the phone to not allow the app to suck up the battery in the background). When I do actually want to use PAAK, I open the app before approaching the car and it works perfectly. And the battery drain issue is non-existent for me.

I recommend you add Android to the title so folks will know it is the same issue reported elsewhere.

I have an S21 Ultra, and the FordPass was running in the background all day because of PAAK. I went and turned off background activity for the app. My phone was back to normal afterwards

Yes for me, too. Have learned to force close the app when out and about and fearful of battery drain leaving me stranded (other than backup codes).
