We've just got our 2023 Mach E (California) and our state requires a front license plate. I've been reading through the posts but I haven't seen on comments on this one:

Has anyone tried it?
I am also using one of Craig's MME specific brackets.

2021-2024 Mustang Mach-E and GT (Newly Updated!) – Craig's Custom Mustang Brackets (ccmustangbrackets.com)

Craig has done a slight redesign to raise the bracket to reduce chances of the plate or bracket interfering with the car's radar. Mine predates his redesign by a few weeks. I did my own mod consisting of drilling two new holes in the license plate so I could raise the plate about an inch. The bracket is not visible with the plate raised only an inch. I do not get any interference with the radar. Actually I didn't get any before raising the plate, but I decided to put the odds more in my favor anyway. Plus, I think the plate looks better slightly higher.

I inquired of the California Wrap Plate folks whether they were working on approval for use in VA. They replied they were working on it, and I think some other states, but of course it takes time.

Check out this site. I have one and it looks great.

License Plate Wrap
I’m in Seattle, take a look how many Teslas do not have one in the front! Yea my neighbour is a WSP and he’ll give a warning if he pulls over a driver with an infraction. He will not just pull you over for that only reason. You know I wonder if that effects the Good to go (without the tracker).

Unfortunately I'm in Washington and these aren't allowed.
Sorry about that. I saw "California" and thought it was your state rather than MME Model.

They consider it a "primary" violation which means you can be pulled over just for not having the front plate !???
WOW that sucks . If it was a secondary I'd risk it .....and HAVE here in Ohio. We did away with the front plate requirement a couple of years ago .
