I guess I missed the part in the order agreement that said I would have the right to transfer my order to a 3rd party and that the dealership would be obligated to abide by my wishes. /s

Everyone hoping to take this order, please be wary as the dealer doesn't have to honor the price and if this person's order qualifies for Price Protection, it is only if THEY buy the car, even if the dealer wanted to, they cannot substitute a different party on the purchase agreement and honor Price Protection. Best case, you get a nice dealer who's willing to sell the car at 2022 MSRP, but that is so doubtful right now, especially in California.

I've tried to get an order transferred to me but dealer would not allow it. They are free to markup if the original person abandons the order.
