Yes, in the Netherlands this was possible

The 2 Mach-E's present at the road show as part of the "official" program aren't able to allow test drive/rides. Some of the Road Shows (and some dealerships not part of the road show) have been lucky enough to have actual Ford employees/reps stop by in their own Mach-E. Those Mach-E's/Ford employee's have given lucky road show attendees a ride around, but again, not part of the "official" road show experience.

Sounds like a great idea. Glad they are going to begin allowing road tests soon.

Be careful when switching between driving experiences while in motion with foot off the go pedal. The different levels of regen might be a little surprising. I had it in Unbridled with one pedal off and was coming up to a stop sign and decided to switch to another mode which felt like my foot slipped off the brake in an ICE car. Caught me by surprise a little bit.

Before you folks get too excited, I am going to suggest that "ride along" is being interpreted as "test drive". The distinction is important, as I guarantee that Ford will not let ANYONE but a Ford employee actually drive the prototypes.
