Ministers met Friday with Tom Homan, Trump’s border czar, to discuss Canada’s $1.3 billion border security plan, implemented to appease the president’s concerns.

In an interview on Fox News on Sunday, Homan said he would share the details of that presentation with the president later this week and did not weigh in on whether it might be enough to lift the tariffs.

“I’ll brief him on the meeting I had, but that’s the president’s decision,” Homan said. “I don’t want to get ahead of him on that, but I will brief him on what I heard… so he knows what they have done, what they said they will do.”

Trump has been whining about the USCAM agreement during his 1st term which he did say it was a very good deal. ?‍
This tariff stuff is just a precursor to re-negotiating USCAM. I think the Trudeau gov is basically telling Trump to stop beating around (or inside) the bush and start the talks now. Get over with it and move on.

What's weird is the taking over the Gaza strip and turn it into a beach resort. Isn't this the home for millions of people who are hurting? Does the words just get blurted out without any filtering?

Yeah I'm pretty much numb to anything he says but that Gaza statement really jumped out at me as being completely absurd and showing a colossal lack of knowledge about the middle east on his part.
