Attaching iPhone holder to main screen.

I was walking by a Tesla the. other day and saw something like this:

(I don't know if it was this product, I just googled to get an image.)

The idea is that the iPhone holder attaches to the main screen and then holds the phone with a MagSafe connection.

The issue is, of course, the back of the MME screen isn't flat. (sigh.)

Is there anything like this for the MME?

I’m using a MagSafe charger built for laptops. It isn’t made to conform to the ripples on the back cover, but the double sided tape sticks just fine. ?? The only problem with it is that it’s silver. ??

I bought one of those too, but I had to remove the phone holder. The damn thing squeeks all the time. If you have any tricks to get it not to squeek I'd love to hear them.

@HuntingPudel's idea may work for you. Or drop @AOSK a note and see if they have any thoughts. Maybe some foam tape? That might make the fit too tight though.

It's what I want to do. I'm thinking about playing with CarScanner to track the fun things Ford doesn't show us while I'm driving.

I mostly use mine as intended: Charger. The one in the tray below the center screen sucks. Oddly, it worked great for my old iPhone X. Just terrible with my 13 Pro. ?‍?

I got one that connects on the back via some pretty strong velcro, has multiple adjustments and is a magsafe. Added bonus of a fan that cools it a bit and Oh, pretty LED's on the back. Currently not available on Amazon but probably will be back in stock.

Oddly, it worked great for my old iPhone X. Just terrible with my 13 Pro. ?‍?

Larger camera bumps now. They prevent the wireless charger from working as well as it should. It worked “OK” with my iPhone 12 but stinks with my iPhone 15 ProMax.
